Fausto joined SAI as a Partner in 2014.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, valuations, financing through capital markets, debt restructuring, and strategic and financial consulting. He has executed transactions in the food and beverage, mining, gas, telecommunications, payment network, forest product, biotechnology, tourism, airline, oil services, and retail sectors.
Prior to joining SAI as a partner, he was the Founding Partner of Aliquanta, an investment banking firm specialized in mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions for both public and private companies. Fausto Miranda also worked at Goldman Sachs in New York, McKinsey & Co. in Mexico, and the Accor Group in Paris.
He earned an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University.
Fausto was a Founding Shareholder of Financiera Compartamos (Banco Compartamos today) and was its first Chairman of the Board from 2000 to 2006. He is an active Board member of Grupo EVYA, Investment Placement Group, Viastara, the Association of Rice Alumni, Special Olympics Mexico, and the Major Gifts Committee of the American School Foundation.
He is a committed supporter of Stanford University, Rice University, the American School Foundation, Fundación Lazos, Special Olympics Mexico, and Construyendo AC.
